We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join
our team at Pace Pharm. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the
safety and well-being of our employees, as well as compliance with environmental
regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the safety levels of our facilities and operations
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with
- OSHA, EPA, and ANSI regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Develop and maintain safety data sheets and other safety documentation
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an EHS Specialist, Coordinator, or similar role
- Strong familiarity and knowledge base involving OSHA, EPA, and ANSI regulations
- OSHA or similar EHS certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Acute attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat
